Well, in short, the lead that is melted in to the pockets of the keel might not be pure lead and it has started some kind of chemical reaction, it might be what is called “plumbites” (HPbO2 or Pb(OH)3) in English, I am really not a chemist!

Well, I didn’t want to have the expanding material left there so we simply removed it, and will have a change to check on the keel bults as well, the look good by the way!
